Paws to Read – Wednesdays, 3:15-4:15
Come and read your favorite book to Berkeley! She’s at the Los Osos Library on Wednesday afternoons. School Age.
Storytime – Thursdays, 10:30-11:00
Stories, dance, and music for toddlers and preschoolers.
Stay Young with Qi Gong! – Fridays, 9:00-10:00 (rain cancels)
Qi Gong is a system for physical, mental and spiritual development that has roots dating back thousands of years in China.  It consists of flowing movements and meditations that cultivate life force energy (called qi by the Chinese).  The basics of Qi Gong are not difficult to learn and practice, and are particularly beneficial for older adults.  Instructor Devin Wallace was certified to teach by Qi Gong master Lee Holden.  Devin has taught at hospitals, fitness & yoga centers and also does private classes.
Cartoon Club – Friday, August 4, 2:30-4:30
Zap! Pow! Learn how to create characters, draw backgrounds, build a story and more during a fun comics-filled afternoon! Paper, pens and pencils provided – you bring the inspiration. For ages 8-18.
 
Ozobots – Friday, August 11, 2023 2:30-4:30
Come to the Los Osos Library and write code to control a robot with just markers and paper!
Book Discussion – Thursday, August 17, 2023 5:30-6:45
We will be discussing “Dead Wake: The Last Crossing of the Lusitania by Erik Larson No need to sign up ahead of time.  Just show up! Call the library for details.
Button Making – Friday, August 18, 2023 2:30-4:30
Create your very own fantastic pieces of flair using our button maker!  For ages 8-18.   
 
Nintendo Switch – Friday, August 25, 2023 2:30-4:30
Master your gaming and fine motor skills with our Nintendo Switch! We will provide one Switch for up to 4 players at a time – feel free to bring your own, too.  Games include Mario Kart and Mario Party.
Teen Crafternoon – Saturday, August 26, 2:00-4:00
Come on down for snacks & art! This Saturday’s craft will be origami kusudama flowers and balls. For ages 11-18.
