OUR ORGANIZATIONS

The Kiwanis Club of Bay Osos is a charter organization of the SBCC. Kiwanians are volunteers changing the world through service to children and communities. Kiwanis members help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged, and care for the sick. They develop youth as leaders, build playgrounds, raise funds for pediatric research, and far more. No problem is too big or too small. Why? Because working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. When you give a child a chance to learn, experience, dream, and succeed, Great things happen.

The Rotary Club of Los Osos is a charter organization of the SBCC. Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

The Chamber of Commerce of Los Osos/Baywood Park is a charter organization of the SBCC. Why join the chamber? Belonging to a chamber is a way to get involved! Most businesses benefit in some way from their Chamber membership, and small businesses can benefit dramatically from the power of joining together with other Chamber members in this way.

Our Partner Organizations

People Helping People is a charter organization of the SBCC. As its own non-profit organization, People Helping People expands the supply of fresh produce and non-perishable products they receive from the Food Bank with other grocery items like pastries, cereals or even cat food.

Los Osos Cares is a member of the SBCC. Here at Los Osos Cares, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2016, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon. Our organization serves the residents of Estero Bay (Los Osos, Morro Bay & Cayucos) in collaboration with other agencies, to provide them with access to information, referrals and services. Our areas of concern include: employment, economic sustainability, health, housing and transportation.

The Los Osos Valley Garden Club is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes gardening and landscaping through educational talks, tours, hands-on projects and charitable contributions. We participate in a wide range of activities that support our mission which is to promote gardening, civic beautification, environmental responsibility and the exchange of information and ideas.

Meals that Connect is a program of the national nonprofit, Senior Nutrition Program of San Luis Obispo, fueled by CenCal Health, the Area Agency on Aging, and the many San Luis Obispo people and partners who prioritize seniors in our community.
